Image saliency detection in wavelet domain based on the contrast sensitivity function

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2015
A method of high definition saliency detection based on contrast sensitive function and wavelet analysis was proposed in order to improve the resolution of saliency maps.Original image was filtered by contrast sensitive function in YCbCr space, which ...

Disentangling the Switching Behavior in Functional Connectivity Dynamics in Autism Spectrum Disorder: Insights from Developmental Cohort Analysis and Molecular‐Cellular Associations

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 20, May 29, 2025.
A region‐wise functional connectivity dynamics (FCD) switching index (RFSI) identifies abnormal drivers in ASD across development, linked to salience/ventral attention, default mode, and frontoparietal networks. RFSI changes correlate with transcriptomic and neurotransmitter profiles, and supported by gene‐edited ASD monkeys.

Altered Brain‐Behavior Association During Resting State is a Potential Psychosis Risk Marker

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study detects a potential multimodal biomarker that can be promising for identifying early markers of psychosis. It shows a consistent brain‐behavior association between a circuit of interconnected regions and executive function in neurotypical controls and individuals at various stages of psychosis.

Apoptotic Vesicles Derived from Mesenchymal Stem Cells Ameliorate Hypersensitivity Responses via Inducing CD8+ T Cells Apoptosis with Calcium Overload and Mitochondrial Dysfunction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The therapeutic potential of ApoVs derived from stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED‐ApoVs) in the treatment of CD8+ T cell‐mediated hypersensitivity reactions is noteworthy. SHED‐ApoVs are capable of fusing with the plasma membrane of CD8+ T cells, which subsequently triggers a series of events characterized by calcium overload ...

ZMYND8 Reads H3K36me2 to Activate CEBPE Transcription and Suppress Multiple Myeloma Progression through the Inhibition of Adaptive UPR Pathways

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 20, May 29, 2025.
Zinc‐finger MYND‐type‐containing 8 (ZMYND8) activates the transcription of CCAAT/enhancer‐binding protein epsilon by recognizing dimethylation of lysine 36 in histone H3 through its Pro‐Trp‐Trp‐Pro domain, thereby inhibiting adaptive unfolded protein response pathways to suppress the proliferation and invasion of multiple myeloma (MM) cells ...

In‐Depth Cell‐Type‐Specific Proteome Landscape of the Brain from Human Amyloid‐β Overexpression Mouse Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 20, May 29, 2025.
In situ Cell‐type‐specific proteome Analysis using antibody‐mediated Biotinylation (iCAB) is a method that directly targets and analyzes proteins in specific cell types within tissue. Applied to 5xFAD mice, iCAB identifies ≈8000 cell‐type‐specific proteins, revealing unique pathways in neurons, astrocytes, and microglia.
