Saliency detection for RGBD images
Proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Internet Multimedia Computing and Service, 2015Additional depth information from RGBD images is one of characteristics different from conventional 2D images. In this paper, we propose an effective saliency model to detect salient regions in RGBD images. Color contrast and depth contrast are first enhanced with the weighting of depth-based object probability.

Saliency detection by adaptive clustering
2013 Visual Communications and Image Processing (VCIP), 2013Saliency detection plays an important role in image segmentation, content-aware resizing and object recognition. Most approaches obtain promising performance recently, which is useful for the postprocessing. We propose a clustering-based method to detect refined regions with comparative performance.

Saliency Detection in Textured Images
2020 15th International Conference on Computer Science & Education (ICCSE), 2020Recently, salient object detection has achieved significant development. Unfortunately, existing methods mainly depend on color differences, not effective for textured images. This is because the visual patterns of textures cannot be well measured with existing methods.

Learning to detect stereo saliency
2014 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME), 2014This paper develops a novel learning-based method for detecting stereo saliency in stereopair images. The disparity maps computed from stereopair images provide an additional depth cue for stereo saliency detection. To the best of our knowledge, our approach is the first one to simultaneously detect the stereo saliency of both left and right images ...

Superpixel-Based Spatiotemporal Saliency Detection
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, 2014This paper proposes a superpixel-based spatiotemporal saliency model for saliency detection in videos. Based on the superpixel representation of video frames, motion histograms and color histograms are extracted at superpixel level as local features and frame level as global features.

Hybrid Saliency Detection for Images
IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2013Saliency information interpreted from the visual stimuli can predict the attentional behaviour of human perception, thus playing a key role in visual signal processing. In this letter, we present a hybrid saliency detection method for images by which we automatically predict the saliency regions based on low-level and high-level cues.

Predictive Video Saliency Detection
2012Human Visual System has the characters of focusing on salient regions when seeing images or videos. The method which finds the irregularity and unpredictability of images or videos by simulating human visual system is called saliency detection. In this paper, we propose a novel video saliency detection method based on temporal consistency.

Bi-subspace saliency detection
2017 IEEE 7th Annual Computing and Communication Workshop and Conference (CCWC), 2017Relevant to visual attention mechanism, visual saliency are concerns of detecting the salient regions in image and video. Saliency detection is a critical pre-process in many computer vision applications, which requires high-level visual recognition and scene understanding as well as low-level photo and video processing. In this paper, We propose a new

An adaptive framework for saliency detection
International Journal of Imaging Systems and Technology, 2019AbstractAt present, people are inclined to use one saliency detection method to cover all the pixels in an image. However, every method has its own limitations. A single method may not yield a good performance at all image scenes. In this article, we propose a new adaptive framework to detect salient objects.
