From Magma to Atmosphere: Halogen Fluxes During Volcanic Eruptions

Abstract Volcanic eruptions release significant quantities of volatile elements into the atmosphere and stratosphere. Plinian eruptions are particularly efficient at dispersing these elements due to their large magma volumes and high eruption columns.
