Rponse d'une communaut de diatomes de glace un gradient de salinit (baie d'Hudson)
Marine Biology, 1983Sea ice offers a physical support to the growth of microalgae (epontic community). Almost all the studies on ice microflora in the Arctic and the Antarctic have been performed in waters of high salinities, and they generally reported a very high standing crop.

Triphenyltin (TPT) is an organotin compound frequently detected in coastal estuaries, yet studies on TPT's effects in regions with significant salinity fluctuations, such as coastal estuaries, are currently limited. To investigate the toxic effects of TPT under different salinity conditions, this study focused on marine medaka (Oryzias melastigma ...

Abstract 1. 1. Glycine was the most concentrated free amino acid (FAA) in polyps of Aurelia and Chrysaora . 2. 2. Total FAA concentrations were linearly related to salinity in polyps starved for 48 hr. 3. 3. FAA data from field Chrysaora polyps indicate that quality and quantity of food and elapsed time since feeding greatly alter ...

Abstract Growth, food conversion, and body composition of sea bass fingerlings, Dicentrarchus labrax, exposed to different temperatures (15 and 22°C) and salinities (6, 11, 24 and 37‰) were studied. Temperature was found to have the more significant influence on these parameters.

Abstract The rate of metamorphosis of larvae, duration of larval stages and carapace lengths of postlarvae were measured in the common prawn, Palaemon serratus , reared in 30 different combinations of temperature and salinity. Temperature varied from 13°C to 29°C and salinity from 13‰ to 43‰.
