SUMMARY A survey of salmonella infections in wild animals, mostly kept in a zoo, in Khartoum, Sudan, was made. S. london, S. heidelberg and S. eastbourne were isolated from lions, S. senftenberg and S. johannesburg from tigers and S. heidelberg from one lion-tiger cross.
