Dihydromyricetin Regulates PANoptosis to Protect Salmonella Typhimurium‐Infected Weaned Piglets

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 7, Issue 2, March 2026.
After DHM pretreatment, piglets were subjected to Salmonella infection. Serum and ileocecal samples from the piglets were collected for TUNEL assay, Western blotting analysis, and metabolomics analysis. The results collectively indicated that DHM could protect piglets from Salmonella infection.

Salmonella enterica Serotype Typhimurium DT 104 Antibiotic Resistance Genomic Island I in Serotype Paratyphi B

open access: yesEmerging Infectious Diseases, 2002
We have identified Salmonella genomic island I (SGI1) in an isolate of Salmonella enterica serotype Paratyphi B. This antibiotic-resistance gene cluster, which confers multidrug resistance, has been previously identified in S.

The definition of phage types of Salmonella paratyphi B [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Bulletin of Bacteriological Nomenclature and Taxonomy, 1961
SUMMARY A phage type is defined as a collection of bacterial strains with the same phage relationships. Satisfactory type definitions have been developed for Salmonella typhi. Definition for type definitions for S. paratyphi B are discussed.
