Local Sample Path Properties of Gaussian Fields
A zero-one law is derived for a class of Gaussian fields $\{X(t) : t \in R^d\}$ including the generalized multiparameter Brownian motion. Under very general conditions, the joint distribution of the suprema of several Gaussian processes defined over compact metric spaces is shown to be absolutely continuous with a bounded density. Sufficient conditions

Marshall-Olkin Generalized Asymmetric Laplace distributions and processes
The Marshall-Olkin Generalised Asymmetric Laplace distribution is introduced and studied. An approximation is made and various properties including self decomposability, geometric infinite divisibility, limit properties etc.are established.

Tracy-Widom distribution, Airy2 process and its sample path properties [PDF]
AbstractTracy-Widom distribution was first discovered in the study of largest eigenvalues of high dimensional Gaussian unitary ensembles (GUE), and since then it has appeared in a number of apparently distinct research fields. It is believed that Tracy-Widom distribution have a universal feature like classic normal distribution. Airy2process is defined

Passive element enriched photoacoustic computed tomography (PER PACT) for simultaneous imaging of acoustic propagation properties and light absorption\ud [PDF]
We present a ‘hybrid’ imaging approach which can image both light absorption properties and acoustic transmission properties of an object in a two-dimensional slice using a computed tomography (CT) photoacoustic imager.

Sample path properties of permanental processes
Let $X_ =\{X_ (t),t\in T\}$, $ >0$, be an $ $-permanental process with kernel $u(s,t)$. We show that $X^{1/2}_ $ is a subgaussian process with respect to the metric $ (s,t)= (u(s,s)+u(t,t)-2(u(s,t)u(t,s))^{1/2})^{1/2}$. This allows us to use the vast literature on sample path properties of subgaussian processes to extend these properties to $

A detailed investigation on highly dense CuZr bulk metallic glasses for shielding purposes
Gamma-ray shielding properties of eight different metallic glasses based on CuxZr100-x: x = 35 (Cu35Zr65) − 70 (Cu70Zr30) were determined using Monte Carlo simulations and Phy-X/PSD software.

In this paper, we mainly study the solution and properties of the multiterm time-fractional diffusion equation. First, we obtained the stochastic representation for this equation, which turns to be a subordinated process.

Energy-Efficient Local Path Planning of a Self-Guided Vehicle by Considering the Load Position
The local path planning, as one of the navigation stages, plays a significant role in the energy consumption of Self-Guided Vehicles (SGV). Since SGV must operate for several hours on a single battery charge to transport loads, its energy consumption is ...
