Suppression of lung adenocarcinoma migration through organelle alkalization by human lactoferrin – albumin fusion

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.

Sample Preparation

Current Protocols in Human Genetics, 2004
AbstractToday's human genetic studies are requiring an ever‐increasing number of sample manipulations. Although a significant investment of time and money are required, automation can considerably reduce human error and improve sample tracking fidelity when applied to such repetitive projects.

Microproteomic sample preparation

PROTEOMICS, 2021
AbstractMultiple applications of proteomics in life and health science, pathology and pharmacology, require handling size‐limited cell and tissue samples. During proteomic sample preparation, analyte loss in these samples arises when standard procedures are used.
