TERRESTRIAL LASER SCANNER DATA DENOISING BY DICTIONARY LEARNING OF SPARSE CODING [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2013
Point cloud processing is basically a signal processing issue. The huge amount of data which are collected with Terrestrial Laser Scanners or photogrammetry techniques faces the classical questions linked with signal or image processing.

Near-Optimal Graph Signal Sampling by Pareto Optimization

open access: yesSensors, 2021
In this paper, we focus on the bandlimited graph signal sampling problem. To sample graph signals, we need to find small-sized subset of nodes with the minimal optimal reconstruction error.

lop-DWI: A Novel Scheme for Pre-Processing of Diffusion Weighted Images in the Gradient Direction Domain

open access: yesFrontiers in Neurology, 2015
We describe and evaluate a pre-processing method based on a periodic spiral sampling of diffusion gradient directions for high angular resolution diffusion magnetic resonance imaging.

Design of a High-Speed Signal Processing System for Underwater LiDAR Based on Complete Waveform Sampling

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings, 2023
The complex and changing underwater environment, along with the presence of various suspended particles, leads to laser attenuation and backward scattering. As a result, the detection capabilities of underwater LiDAR are significantly limited. To address

A Simplified Multiband Sampling and Detection Method Based on MWC Structure for Mm Wave Communications in 5G Wireless Networks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2015
The millimeter wave (mm wave) communications have been proposed to be an important part of the 5G mobile communication networks, and it will bring more difficulties to signal processing, especially signal sampling, and also cause more pressures on ...

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Genomic Diversity and Clinical Variability in Pediatric Primary Cutaneous Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma: A Case Series

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma (pcALCL) is a rare pediatric CD30‐positive T‐cell lymphoproliferative disorder with an excellent prognosis, but its genomic drivers are poorly defined. We report three children with skin‐limited disease demonstrating striking molecular heterogeneity, including NPM::ALK, NUP214::FRK, and a novel ...

Wideband Mixed Signal Separation Based on Photonic Signal Processing

open access: yesTelecom, 2021
The growing needs for high-speed and secure communications create an increasing challenge to the contemporary framework of signal processing. The coexistence of multiple high-speed wireless communication systems generates wideband interference.

Pulse-Doppler Signal Processing with Quadrature Compressive Sampling [PDF]

open access: yesCoRR, 2013
Quadrature compressive sampling (QuadCS) is a newly introduced sub-Nyquist sampling for acquiring inphase and quadrature (I/Q) components of radio-frequency signals. For applications to pulse-Doppler radars, the QuadCS outputs can be arranged in 2-dimensional data similar to that by Nyquist sampling.
