Isotope geochemistry of ore fluids for the Dongsheng sandstone-type uranium deposit, China
Chinese Journal of Geochemistry, 2007The Dongsheng sandstone-type uranium deposit is one of the large-sized sandstone-type uranium deposits discovered in the northern part of the Ordos Basin of China in recent years. Geochemical characteristics of the Dongsheng uranium deposit are significantly different from those of the typical interlayered oxidized sandstone-type uranium ore deposits ...

Abstract Sandstone–type uranium deposit hosted by reduced feldspathic sandstone sequence of lower part of Cretaceous Mahadek Formation occurs at Lostoin area of Mahadek basin and is confined within a prominent palaeochannel of NNE-SSW trend with flow towards SSW. The channel-fill comprises of about 10 m to 55 m grey to dark grey coloured,

Less Common Trace Elements in Sandstone-Type Uranium Deposits--Theory and Application: ABSTRACT
AAPG Bulletin, 1979Trace elements commonly associated with sandstone-type uranium deposits include V, Mo, Se, and some As, Cu, and Pb. Because V, Mo, and Se are usually included in separate phases, all uranium-free, their use as pathfinders for uranium deposits is straightforward but often hindered by high background from the non-ore country rocks or other non-ore phases.
