O feminicídio pode ser considerado como eliminação da vida da mulher em contexto de violência doméstica, justamente pelo fato de a vítima ser mulher. Este trabalho se justifica em relação ao impacto da criação da qualificadora do feminicídio nos casos de violência contra as mulheres, notadamente no Estado de Santa Catarina.
