In this paper, we propose a framework referred to as “geodetic synthetic aperture radar (SAR) tomography” that fuses the SAR imaging geodesy and tomographic SAR inversion (TomoSAR) approaches to obtain absolute 3-D positions of a large amount of natural scatterers.

A Survey of Density Estimation for SAR Images
Modeling of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images has been an important topic of research since the inception of SAR satellites. Many theoretical and empirical models have been presented in literature to accurately model the amplitude SAR images. The

This study presents a bioengineered assembloid (ASM) system combining glioblastoma (GBM) cells in oxidized alginate (OA) microgels with dorsal organoids (DOs). This model simulates brain tumor‐host interactions, revealing enhanced GBM invasion, altered gene expression, and aggressive infiltration patterns, demonstrating ASM as a valuable platform for ...

F-SAR – DLR’s New Multifrequency Polarimetric Airborne SAR
F-SAR identifies the successor of the well-known E-SAR system. The system is under development at the Microwaves and Radar Institute. The development was triggered by the demand for data being simultaneously acquired at different wavelengths and ...

Due to the lack of an appropriate symmetry in the acquisition geometry, generalised bistatic SAR cannot benefit from the two main properties of low-to-moderate resolution monostatic SAR: azimuth-invariance and topography-insensitivity.

We developed a fully human 3D tonsil cell culture system incorporating supportive stromal cells that better sustains and activates immune cells than conventional methods. The model generates stronger, more targeted antibody responses to viral antigens and vaccines, providing a physiologically relevant and entirely human platform for studying immune ...

Modifications in the SIFT operator for effective SAR image matching
With the increasing availability and rapidly improving spatial resolution of SAR images from latest and future satellites like TerraSAR-X and TanDEM-X, their applicability in remote sensing applications is set to be paramount.
