Carotenoid-glycoprotein of Sarcina Flava Membrane [PDF]

SUMMARY: The carotenoid-glycoprotein isolated from the membranes of Sarcina flava by using synthetic detergents was not resolved into subfractions. It was resistant to extremes of heat and pH value. The peptide moiety carried little net charge and the carotenoid was not easily released.

Ulcerative Gastritis and Esophagitis in Two Children with Sarcina ventriculi Infection
