LncRNAs regulates cell death in osteosarcoma

open access: yesScientific Reports
Despite improvements, prognosis in osteosarcoma patients remains poor, making it essential to identify additional and more robust therapeutic targets. Non-apoptotic receptor-mediated cell death (RCD), which plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of OS,

Guillain-Barre syndrome observed with adoptive transfer of lymphocytes genetically engineered with an NY-ESO-1 reactive T-cell receptor

open access: yesJournal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer, 2019
Background Adoptive transfer of autologous T-lymphocytes transduced with a high affinity NY-ESO-1-reactive T-cell receptor (NY-ESO-1c259 T-cells) has emerged as a promising therapeutic strategy for patients with refractory synovial sarcoma.

Systematic Targeting of GD2‐Positive Neuroblastoma Tumors With a Photooncolytic Phage Nanovector Platform

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A tumor‐penetrating photooncolytic phage is developed for selectively targeting and delivering photosensitizers to GD2‐positive Neuroblastoma cells. Upon light activation, it precisely induces oncolysis of GD2‐positive cells with no effect on GD2‐negative ones.

Minimally Invasive Chemical Biopsy Needle with Self‐Wettable Extraction Phase For In Vivo Tissue Sampling During Medical Procedures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new tissue sampling device using an acupuncture needle with bio‐compatible extraction sorbents in the recessed section is developed. The coating material using self‐wettable particles doesn't require solvent activation after sterilization. This device is applied for the anti‐cancer drug concentration monitoring during the in vivo lung perfusion ...

SARCOMA OF THE PANCREAS. [PDF]

open access: yesJAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1901
Litten 1 was the first to report a primary sarcoma of the pancreas in which the microscopic findings were recorded. His case occurred in a boy 4 years old. The tumor weighed fifteen pounds. Virchow made the microscopic examination and found a small round-celled sarcoma. This was in 1889.

KRAS/ABHD17C/ALOX15B Axis Promotes Pancreatic Cancer Progression via Ferroptosis Evasion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phosphorylation of ABHD17C induced by KRASmut/ERK signaling facilitates ALOX15B depalmitoylation and degradation via the CUL4/DDB1/DCAF10 complex, thereby enabling KRASmut‐PDAC cell to evade ferroptosis. Methyl protodioscin inhibits KRASmut‐PDAC progression by disrupting the ABHD17C/ALOX15B interaction and inducing ferroptosis, which represents a ...
