Dual‐Peptide Nanoplatform: Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles Functionalized With a Cell‐Penetrating Peptide and Loaded With Rationally Designed Antimicrobial Peptides for Tuberculosis Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Machine learning–guided engineering of a plectasin‐derived peptide yields DC05, a potent antimycobacterial candidate. Encapsulation into tuftsin‐functionalized mesoporous silica nanoparticles enhances intracellular delivery, stability, and activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis while maintaining low cytotoxicity and minimal hemolysis. The combined

Saturable absorption and reverse saturable absorption in platinum nanoparticles

Optics Communications, 2005
Abstract The optical nonlinear absorption of the aqueous solution of platinum nanospheres protected by poly ( N -vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) was investigated using open aperture Z -scan method with nanosecond pulse laser at the wavelength of 532 nm.

Reverse saturable absorption and saturable absorption in doped xerogels

Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics Europe, 1994
Organic molecules often present, at given wavelengths, reverse saturable absorption behavior:1–5 at low fluences, the absorption is weak; at high fluences, some molecules are excited to the first excited state whose absorption is greater. Aluminophthalocyanines encaged in solid inorganic xerogel silica matrices obtained from tetraethoxysilane ...

Saturable absorption dynamics of DODCI

Optical and Quantum Electronics, 1991
The saturable absorption dynamics of DODCI in a femtosecond dye laser is studied theoretically. The N-isomer and P-isomer photoisomerization dynamics is included. The wavelength region between 570 nm and 650 nm is considered where the N-isomer and P-isomer absorption dynamics changes from short-wavelength to long-wavelength s0-s1 excitation.
