A fast algorithm for complex discord searches in time series: HOT SAX Time [PDF]
Time series analysis is quickly proceeding towards long and complex tasks. In recent years, fast approximate algorithms for discord search have been proposed in order to compensate for the increasing size of the time series. It is more interesting, however, to find quick exact solutions.

SAXS Structural Characterization of Nanoheterogeneous Conducting Thin Films. A Brief Review of SAXS Theories [PDF]
The SAXS (small angle X-ray scattering) technique has been used to determine the fundamental structure of conducting thin films fabricated by implanting gold ions into PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) polymer. We present a brief review of the SAXS theories necessary to determine the structural properties of our nanoheterogeneous films.

SAXS studies of RNA: structures, dynamics, and interactions with partners
Small‐angle X‐ray scattering, SAXS, is a powerful and easily employed experimental technique that provides solution structures of macromolecules. The size and shape parameters derived from SAXS provide global structural information about these molecules ...

This review explores how in situ and operando spectroscopic techniques reveal the real‐time behavior of reticular materials, including MOFs and COFs. These methods track material formation and functionalization, structural changes, defect formation, dynamic responses to external triggers, and catalytic processes.

A Novel Trend Symbolic Aggregate Approximation for Time Series [PDF]
Symbolic Aggregate approximation (SAX) is a classical symbolic approach in many time series data mining applications. However, SAX only reflects the segment mean value feature and misses important information in a segment, namely the trend of the value change in the segment.

Hierarchically porous covalent organic frameworks (hCOFs) are constructed using a solvothermal template‐induced synthetic strategy. Commercially available zinc oxide nanoparticles are employed as hard template enabling an increase in total pore volume in a series of COFs.
