Macromolecular Engineering and Additive Manufacturing of Polyisobutylene‐Based Thermoplastic Elastomers. II. The Poly(styrene‐b‐isobutylene‐b‐styrene)/Poly(phenylene oxide) System

open access: yesMacromolecular Rapid Communications, Volume 44, Issue 1, January 2023., 2023
Additive manufacturing of thermoplastic elastomer poly(styrene‐b‐isobutylene‐b‐styrene) (SIBS) is achieved by blending with polyphenylene oxide (PPO). The morphology and physical properties of SIBS/PPO blends as well as their effects on 3D printability are systematically investigated.

High Conductivity in PEDOT:PSS Thin‐Films by Secondary Doping with Superacid Vapor: Mechanisms and Application to Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Post‐treatments utilizing superacid vapor in conjunction with methanol immersion enhance the electrical conductivity of PEDOT:PSS films, achieving values exceeding 2000 S cm−1. The vapor treatment induces vertical phase separation and improves the lamellar stacking of PEDOT chains, thereby enhancing inter‐chain and inter‐grain charge transport.

Decoupling Silicon and Graphite Contribution in High‐Silicon Content Composite Electrodes

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Accepted Article.
Silicon‐graphite (Si/Gr) composite electrodes are widely used in commercial Li‐ion batteries to enhance capacity while balancing mechanical stability. This study investigates the electrochemical behavior of high‐silicon‐content (30 wt%) Si/Gr blends using a decoupled blend cell setup.
