In this work, Pt nanoparticles were incorporated into SBA-15 to prepare the materials for hydrogen spillover adsorption. We provide a direct modification (DM) strategy to improve the content of Pt nanoparticles inside the channels of SBA-15.

Sustainable levulinic acid production from inulin via hydrothermal conversion
Abstract This study investigates the hydrothermal conversion of inulin using potassium pyrosulfate to levulinic acid (LA). The Box–Behnken design approach was applied to optimize the conversion parameters and analyze the interactions influencing LA yield.

In this study, SBA-15 loaded with methylene blue (SBA-15-MB) was successfully prepared by simple adsorption of methylene blue onto the mesoporous SBA-15 material. XRD, SEM, FTIR, BET, DRS, and TGA analyses thoroughly characterized the photocatalyst.

Modelling of continuous low‐temperature emulsion co‐polymerization in 3D‐printed reactor
A kinetic model for the emulsion copolymerization of butyl acrylate/styrene at low temperatures is proposed and validated against experiments with a redox initiator system. The model was successfully transferred to a 3D‐printed tubular reactor and conversions of more than 80% and small particles sizes below 40 nm were observed.
