Efficient Inverse Model for Cloud Computing and Information Based on the Symmetric Random Matrix

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
With the continuous development of cloud storage technology, cloud storage has become a new way of storage for both enterprises and individuals. The cloud environment can support users to share data, but it can lead to some malicious users accessing or modifying data by illegal means, so access control is an important way to protect user data.

Development of thalamus mediates paternal age effect on offspring reading: A preliminary investigation

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, Volume 42, Issue 14, Page 4580-4596, October 1, 2021., 2021
In the present study, Xia et al. demonstrate that advanced paternal age at childbirth (PatAGE) is negatively associated with offspring's reading. Moreover, this association is mediated by neuroanatomical maturation in the left posterior thalamus, which is closely linked with the dorsal attention network.

Data Integration by Combining Big Data and Survey Sample Data for Finite Population Inference

open access: yesInternational Statistical Review, Volume 89, Issue 2, Page 382-401, August 2021., 2021
Summary The statistical challenges in using big data for making valid statistical inference in the finite population have been well documented in literature. These challenges are due primarily to statistical bias arising from under‐coverage in the big data source to represent the population of interest and measurement errors in the variables available ...

N‐Tier Soft Set Data Model: An Approach to Combine the Logicality of SQL and the Flexibility of NoSQL

open access: yesMobile Information Systems, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
To process a huge amount of data, computing resources need to be organized in clusters that can be scaled out easily. Still, traditional SQL databases built on the relational data model are difficult to be put to use in such clusters, which has motivated the movement named NoSQL. However, NoSQL databases have their limits by using their own data models.

Linear Algebra and Smarandache Linear Algebra [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The present book, on Smarandache linear algebra, not only studies the Smarandache analogues of linear algebra and its applications, it also aims to bridge the need for new research topics pertaining to linear algebra, purely in the algebraic sense.

The Weil algebra and the Van Est isomorphism [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
This paper belongs to a series of papers devoted to the study of the cohomology of classifying spaces. Generalizing the Weil algebra of a Lie algebra and Kalkman’s BRST model, here we introduce the Weil algebra W(A) associated to any Lie algebroid A.

Inherent Optical Properties‐Reflectance Relationships Revisited

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Oceans, Volume 125, Issue 11, November 2020., 2020
Abstract Understanding the relationship between remote sensing reflectance, Rrs(λ) and the inherent optical properties (IOPs) of natural waters is potentially a key to improving our ability to determine biogeochemical constituents from radiometric measurements.

A Persistent Deep Anticyclonic Vortex in the Rockall Trough Sustained by Anticyclonic Vortices Shed From the Slope Current and Wintertime Convection

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Oceans, Volume 125, Issue 10, October 2020., 2020
Abstract The presence of a persistent surface anticyclone centered at approximately 55°N, 12°W in the Rockall Trough, northeast North Atlantic, has been previously noted in satellite altimetry data. Here, we show that this surface anticyclone is the imprint of a deep, persistent, non‐stationary anticyclonic vortex.
