Target‐site mutations and phenotypic failure in Myzus persicae against pyrethroids and carbamates in central Europe

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 11, Page 10590-10603, November 2026.
Molecular screening of 140 field‐collected Myzus persicae aphids revealed target‐site mutations L1014F, M918L, M918T, and L932F in the sodium channel and S431F in Ace2. The M918L mutation was the primary driver of high pyrethroid (cypermethrin) resistance, while S431F served as a definitive marker for carbamate (pirimicarb) resistance.

Lysine Requirements in Starter‐Phase Japanese Quail (Coturnix japonica) Through Dose–Response Modelling: Interactions With Dietary Protein Level

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 6, November 2026.
In starter Japanese quail, optimal lysine requirements (1.32%–1.42%) depend on dietary crude protein level. Supplementation at 1.4% maximizes body weight gain, protein efficiency, and breast yield, while oversupply (1.55%) impairs performance. Linear broken‐line modelling provides the most reliable requirement estimates for precision feeding.

Artificial Intelligence–Driven Graph Methods for Microbiome Research: A Systematic Review

open access: yesWIREs Mechanisms of Disease, Volume 18, Issue 6, November/December 2026.
Multi‐omics and microbiome‐derived datasets were converted into deterministic and probabilistic network representations for downstream classical graph analysis and graph representation learning. This framework enables link prediction, relationship discovery, and node clustering to improve interpretation of complex biological interactions.

Integration of Aerosol–Cloud Interactions With a Land‐Atmosphere Coupled Model in the Gray Zone

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems, Volume 18, Issue 11, November 2026.
Abstract Clouds strongly impact net surface radiation, creating differential heating patterns, and trigger land breezes that in turn organize cloud development. These dial processes determine the location of persistent ecohydrological regimes at local scales. Aerosol–cloud interactions (ACI) directly impact the diurnal cycle of cloud optical depth, and

Identification of MEF2A, MEF2C, and MEF2D interactomes in basal and Fsk‐stimulated mouse MA‐10 Leydig cells

open access: yesAndrology, Volume 14, Issue 8, Page 2401-2418, November 2026.
Abstract Background Myocyte enhancer factor 2 transcription factors regulate essential transcriptional programs in various cell types. The activity of myocyte enhancer factor 2 factors is modulated through interactions with cofactors, chromatin remodelers, and other regulatory proteins, which are dependent on cell context and physiological state.

Sex and Age Differences in Electrocardiographic Parameters Among Adults With Normal ECGs at a Single Diagnostic Centre in Owerri, Nigeria: A Retrospective Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesAnnals of Noninvasive Electrocardiology, Volume 31, Issue 6, November 2026.
In 313 normal 12‐lead ECGs from Nigerian adults, sex not age was the stronger determinant of cardiac conduction: QRS narrowed with age in men but not women, and QTc was longer in women at both ages. Ceiling truncation of PR/QRS values calls for sex‐specific reference limits.

Unmasking the Influence of Viral Micro‐RNAs on Host Immunity

open access: yesImmunology &Cell Biology, Volume 104, Issue 10, Page 964-974, November‐December 2026.
Viral micro‐RNAs are increasingly recognized as key modulators of host–virus interactions. They influence multiple immune functions, including antigen presentation, T‐cell activation, and cytokine signaling, while also tuning viral gene expression to promote persistence.
