A study of scab resistance in 16 apple progenies using parents with partial scab resistance
Canadian Journal of Plant Science, 2009A study was conducted to examine the inheritance of partial resistance to apple scab [Venturia inaequalis (Cke.) Wint.] using as parents a set of apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.) cultivars that show a range of field resistance to the disease, but are not known to carry any major-gene resistance.

Yampa, a new scab-resistant potato
American Potato Journal, 1949The Yampa potato has shown considerable promise as a scab-resistant, good-quality, high-yielding variety. It has shown field resistance to scab, early blight, and to leaf roll and mosaic. It appears best adapted to the lighter mineral soils. It has a relatively tough skin and keeps well.

SCAB RESISTANT APPLE CULTIVARS - QUALITY AND STORAGE
Acta Horticulturae, 2005Seven scab resistant apple cultivars ('Freedom', 'Ecolette', 'Free Redstar', 'Melfree', 'Redkroft', 'Medea' and 'Sawa') were investigated. The trees were planted in the spring of 1995 on M.26 rootstock. The quality parameters of the fruits (weight, percentage of blush, total soluble solids, titratable acidity and flesh firmness) were measured at ...

Apple Proliferation Epidemics Detected in Scab‐Resistant Apple Trees
Journal of Phytopathology, 1995AbstractIn the Friuli‐Venezia Giulia, a region of Italy, where serious epidemics of apple proliferation (AP) are known to occur, varieties resistant to scab (Venturia inaequalis (Cke.) Wint.) are increasingly being used in new orchards. The most important cvs are Florina. Prima and Priscilla. These varieties were cultivated according to organic farming
