HKUST‐1/TiO2 composite materials show a very high photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate which increases as a function of the irradiation time until reaching a plateau and even surpasses the performance of the 1%Pt/TiO2 material after three photocatalytic cycles.

Optical classification of images at different wavelengths using spectral diffractive neural networks
A solution of several different problems of image classification at several different wavelengths using a diffractive neural network (DNN) consisting of sequentially located phase diffractive optical elements (DOEs) is considered.

Atomic Size Misfit for Electrocatalytic Small Molecule Activation
This review explores the application and mechanisms of atomic size misfit in catalysis for small molecule activation, focusing on how structural defects and electronic properties can effectively lower the energy barriers of chemical bonds in molecules like H2O, CO2, and N2.

X-ray Resonant Magnetic Scattering : Polarisation Dependence in the non-spherical case
We develop a simple tensorial contraction method to obtain analytical formula for X-ray resonant magnetic scattering. We apply the method considering first electric dipole-dipole and electric quadrupole-quadrupole scattering in the isolated atom ...

Generalised coupled-wave theory of scalar volume diffraction
An extended coupled-wave theory of volume phase holography is developed using Fourier techniques. Fresnel, as well as Bragg, diffraction effects are incorporated for general high-efficiency transmission gratings illuminated by general beams. The method is illustrated by a numerical example.
