Static and slowly rotating neutron stars in scalar–tensor theory with self-interacting massive scalar field [PDF]
Binary pulsar observations and gravitational wave detections seriously constrained scalar–tensor theories with massless scalar field allowing only small deviations from general relativity.

New scalar field quartessence [PDF]
We propose a cosmological scenario involving a scalar field, $φ$, that is a source of Dark Matter as well as of Dark Energy. Besides $φ$, the Lagrangian of the field theory envisaged in our scenario contains a second field $χ$, for simplicity assumed to be a scalar, too. For fixed values of $χ$, the potential term decays exponentially at large positive

Mixing Renormalization for Scalar Fields [PDF]
We consider the renormalization of theories with many scalar fields. We discuss at the one-loop level some simple, non-gauge models with an arbitrary number of scalars and fermions both in mass-shell and MS schemes. In the MS scheme we give a detailed qualitative analysis of the RG flow of dimensionless couplings in flavor space.

Collapse of an axion scalar field
The manuscript deals with an interacting scalar field that mimics the evolution of the so-called axion scalar dark matter or axion like particles with ultra-light masses.

Random scalar fields and hyperuniformity [PDF]
Disordered many-particle hyperuniform systems are exotic amorphous states of matter that lie between crystals and liquids. Hyperuniform systems have attracted recent attention because they are endowed with novel transport and optical properties. Recently, the hyperuniformity concept has been generalized to characterize two-phase media, scalar fields ...

Gravitation in Unified Scalar Field Theory
The scalar field of space-time film is considered as unified fundamental field. The field model under consideration is the space-time generalization of the model for a two-dimensional thin film.

DYNAMICS OF ANISOTROPIC SHARMA-MITTAL HOLOGRAPHIC DARK ENERGY MODEL IN BRANS-DICKE THEORY [PDF]
The Brans-Dicke scalar-tensor theory of gravity (Phys. Rev. 124, 925: 1961) is applied in this work to study the Sharma-Mittal holographic dark energy on a background of anisotropic and spatially homogenous Bianchi type-II spacetime.

Affinity for scalar fields to dissipate [PDF]
The zero temperature effective equation of motion is derived for a scalar field interacting with other fields. For a broad range of cases, involving interaction with as few as one or two fields, dissipative regimes are found for the scalar field system.
