Dynamical renormalization and universality in classical multifield cosmological models
We study the scaling behavior of classical multifield cosmological models with complete scalar manifold (M,G) and positive smooth scalar potential Φ, introducing a dynamical renormalization group action which relates their UV and IR limits.

ABSTRACT Introduction Adolescent siblings of children with cancer are at elevated risk for psychosocial problems. Unfortunately, various barriers such as limited family time and resources, conflicting schedules, and psychosocial staffing constraints at cancer centers hinder sibling access to support.

Quantum corrections to gravitational potential of scalarized neutron star binary
We investigate the long-distance, low-energy, leading quantum corrections to gravitational potential for scalarized neutron star (NS) binary systems, by treating general relativity as an effective field theory.

Exact Hairy Black Holes and their Modification to the Universal Law of Gravitation
In this paper two things are done. First, it is pointed out the existence of exact asymptotically flat, spherically symmetric black holes when a self interacting, minimally coupled scalar field is the source of the energy momentum of the Einstein ...

Higher-dimensional solitons and black holes with a non-minimally coupled scalar field [PDF]
We study higher-dimensional soliton and hairy black hole solutions of the Einstein equations non-minimally coupled to a scalar field. The scalar field has no self-interaction potential but a cosmological constant is included.

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

ABSTRACT Background Neuropsychological complications may impair the qualitative prognosis of patients with pediatric brain tumors. However, multifaceted evaluations cannot be conducted in all patients because they are time consuming and burdensome for patients.

Accidental symmetries in the scalar potential of the Standard Model extended with two Higgs triplets
The extension of the Standard Model (SM) with two Higgs triplets offers an appealing way to account for both tiny Majorana neutrino masses via the type-II seesaw mechanism and the cosmological matter-antimatter asymmetry via the triplet leptogenesis.

The scalar potential in noncommutative geometry [PDF]
We present a derivation of the general form of the scalar potential in Yang-Mills theory of a non-commutative space which is a product of a four-dimensional manifold times a discrete set of points. We show that a non-trivial potential without flat directions is obtained after eliminating the auxiliary fields only if constraints are imposed on the mass ...

Implementing Health‐Related Quality of Life Assessment in Pediatric Oncology: A Feasibility Study
ABSTRACT Background There is growing interest in embedding health‐related quality of life (HRQoL) assessment and patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs) within clinical cancer care. This study evaluated the feasibility, acceptability, and usability of implementing an electronic PROM (ePROM) platform to measure HRQoL in children with cancer ...
