The Validity and Reliability Study of the Turkish Version of Cognitive Complaints in Bipolar Disorder Rating Assessment

open access: yesInternational Journal of Methods in Psychiatric Research
Objectives The Cognitive Complaints Rating Scale in Bipolar Disorder (COBRA) is a brief self‐report measure designed to capture Subjective Cognitive Complaints (SCC) experienced by patients with Bipolar Disorder (BD). This study aimed to translate the 16‐

Improved Kernel Correlation Filtering Algorithm Integrating Scale Adaptation and Occlusion Redetection

open access: yesApplied Sciences
To address the limitations of the Kernelized Correlation Filter (KCF) in handling scale variation and occlusion during visual tracking, this paper proposes a scale-adaptive and occlusion-robust KCF-based tracking method.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Adaptation and Validation of the Bern Illegitimate Tasks Scale (BITS) in the Context of a Portuguese Public University

open access: yesBehavioral Sciences
Illegitimate tasks are assignments that threaten professional identity by not being related to the intrinsic quality or morality of the main profession. This concept has gained attention within the Stress as Offense to Self (SOS) theory, which emphasizes

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Turkish Validity and Reliability Study of (Trait) Empathic Anger Scale

open access: yesYaşam Becerileri Psikoloji Dergisi, 2019
The present study aims to adapt (Trait) Empathic Anger Scale (Vitaglione & Barlett, 2003) into Turkish and examine its psychometric properties. Empathic anger is defined as a feeling that is felt for the victim in the event of an injustice.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic
