Simulation and Experiment of SF₆/N₂ Mixed Gas Distribution in High Vertical Drop GIL
Dielectric breakdown of a vertical Gas insulated transmission line (GIL) caused by demixing of the mixture of SF6/N2 is studied by both theoretical simulation and the experimental measure.

BAYESIAN REGRESSION ANALYSIS WITH SCALE MIXTURES OF NORMALS [PDF]
This paper considers a Bayesian analysis of the linear regression model under independent sampling from general scale mixtures of normals. Using a common reference prior, we investigate the validity of Bayesian inference and the existence of posterior moments of the regression and scale parameters.

MFAMNet: Multi-Scale Feature Attention Mixture Network for Short-Term Load Forecasting
Short-term load forecasting is an important prerequisite for smart grid controls. The current methods are mainly based on the convolution neural network (CNN) or long short-term memory (LSTM) model to realize load forecasting.

Robust Mixture Modeling Based on Two-Piece Scale Mixtures of Normal Family
In this paper, we examine the finite mixture (FM) model with a flexible class of two-piece distributions based on the scale mixtures of normal (TP-SMN) family components. This family allows the development of a robust estimation of FM models.

ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

Estimation of the Mixed Gamma Distributions Parameters Based on Censored Life test Data [PDF]
This work concerns with the estimation of scale parameters and mixture proportion of two gamma distributions. Using maximum likelihood and weighted least. Squares methods the estimation is carried out when the data are ungrouped and censored. A simulated

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
