Modulation spaces with scaling symmetry
We indicate how to construct a family of modulation function spaces that have a scaling symmetry. We also illustrate the behavior of the Schr\"odinger multiplier on such function spaces.

Context is used in many NLP systems as an indicator of a term's syntactic and semantic function. The accuracy of the system is dependent on the quality and quantity of contextual information available to describe each term. However, the quantity variable is no longer fixed by limited corpus resources.

Multi-pyramid image spatial structure based on coarse-to-fine pyramid and scale space
Coarse-to-fine pyramid and scale space are two important image structures in the realm of image matching. However, the advantage of coarse-to-fine pyramid is neglected as the pyramid structure is usually constructed with the down sampling method in scale

Non-Abelian gauge field theory in scale relativity [PDF]
Gauge field theory is developed in the framework of scale relativity. In this theory, space-time is described as a non-differentiable continuum, which implies it is fractal, i.e., explicitly dependent on internal scale variables.

A parameterless scale-space approach to find meaningful modes in histograms - Application to image and spectrum segmentation [PDF]
In this paper, we present an algorithm to automatically detect meaningful modes in a histogram. The proposed method is based on the behavior of local minima in a scale-space representation.

Scale-space and edge detection using anisotropic diffusion [PDF]
The scale-space technique introduced by Witkin involves generating coarser resolution images by convolving the original image with a Gaussian kernel.
