Order-disorder in room-temperature ionic liquids probed via methyl quantum tunneling
Room-temperature ionic liquids are promising candidates for applications ranging from electrolytes for energy storage devices to lubricants for food and cellulose processing to compounds for pharmaceutics, biotransformation, and biopreservation.

Symmetric derivates, scattered, and semi-scattered sets [PDF]
We call a set right scattered (left scattered) if every nonempty subset contains a point isolated on the right (left). We establish the following monotonicity theorem for the symmetric derivative. If a real function f

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

On the effects of high-order scattering in 3D cubical and rectangular furnaces [PDF]
The discrete ordinates method (DOM/<i>S</i>n) is implemented to investigate the high order scattering effects of absorbing–emitting–scattering grey gas media inside the three-dimensional cubical and rectangular furnaces.

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Diffractive Hard Scattering [PDF]
Diffraction is an old subject which has received much interest in recent years due to the advent of diffractive hard scattering. We discuss some theoretical models and experimental results that have shown new striking effects, e.g.

Scattering Amplitudes of Massive N=2 Gauge Theories in Three Dimensions [PDF]
We study the scattering amplitudes of mass-deformed Chern-Simons theories and Yang-Mills-Chern-Simons theories with N=2 supersymmetry in three dimensions. In particular, we derive the on-shell supersymmetry algebras which underlie the scattering matrices

Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

Electromagnetic scattering by metal spheres [PDF]
The scattering and absorption of light by small particles is a fundamental issue in electromagnetic (EM) theory, which is applied in surface plasmonics, Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS), Optical Tweezers (OT). When the wavelength ~ sphere radius,
