Self-consistent energy balance simulations of hole dynamics in SiGe/Si THz quantum cascade structures [PDF]
Analysis of hole transport in cascaded p-Si/SiGe quantum well structures is performed using self-consistent rate equations simulations. The hole subband structure is calculated using the 6×6 k·p model, and then used to find carrier relaxation rates due ...

Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

Odd azimuthal anisotropy of the Glasma for pA scattering [PDF]
In this paper we analytically extract the odd azimuthal anisotropy in the Classical Yang-Mills equations for the Glasma for pA collisions. We compute the first non-trivial term in the expansion of the proton sources of color charge. The computation is valid in the limit of a large nucleus when the produced particle momenta are larger than the ...

Finite-temperature dynamic structure factor of the spin-1 XXZ chain with single-ion anisotropy
Improving matrix-product state techniques based on the purification of the density matrix, we are able to accurately calculate the finite-temperature dynamic response of the infinite spin-1 XXZ chain with single-ion anisotropy in the Haldane, large-$D ...
