Determination of scattering coefficient and scattering anisotropy factor of tissue-mimicking phantoms using line-field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC-OCT)

open access: yesJournal of the European Optical Society-Rapid Publications, 2023
Line-field Confocal Optical Coherence Tomography (LC-OCT) is an imaging modality based on a combination of time-domain optical coherence tomography and reflectance confocal microscopy.

Role of scattering-factor anisotropy in electron, positron, and photon holography [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 1998
We have studied the angular anisotropy in the scattering factor of electrons, positrons, and photons in solids. We show that as a function of angle, the maximum number of dips in the scattering factor{close_quote}s magnitude and jumps of near {pi} in its phase are related to the angular momenta of the bound and resonance states of the potential.

Simultaneous reconstruction of absorption, scattering and anisotropy factor distributions in quantitative photoacoustic tomography [PDF]

open access: yesBiomedical Physics & Engineering Express, 2020
We present for the first time the simultaneous reconstruction of three optical parameters distributions of biological tissues namely, the absorption μ a and scattering μ s coefficients, as well as the anisotropy factor g of the Henyey-Greenstein phase function as a new optical contrast.

Anisotropy of Electrical and Thermal Conductivity in High-Density Graphite Foils

open access: yesNanomaterials
Flexible graphite foils with varying thicknesses (S = 282 ± 5 μm, M = 494 ± 7 μm, L = 746 ± 8 μm) and an initial density of 0.70 g/cm3 were obtained using the nitrate method.

Local scattering anisotropy of the skin as a possible factor of fluorescence borders distortion of neoplasms

open access: yesBiomedical Photonics
The use of protoporphyrin IX fluorescence imaging in skin tumors is limited by the complexity of light propagation in tissues. A non-invasive scat- tering anisotropy test (comparison of the fluorescence pattern of a tumor with that of a point source ...

Differences in optical properties of rat muscle tissue at room and physiological temperatures [PDF]

open access: yesИзвестия Саратовского университета. Новая серия: Физика, 2022
Background and Objectives: Knowledge of the optical and thermal human tissues properties is essential for optimizing laser therapy and optical diagnostics. Most studies are carried out at room temperature of the sample. At the same time, it is known that
