Topology of Scavenger Receptor Class B Type I (SR-BI) on Brush Border Membrane
Both hydropathy plot and in vitro translation results predict the topology of SR-BI; the receptor is an integral membrane protein of 509 amino acids, consisting of a short cytoplasmic N-terminus of 9 amino acids followed by a first transmembrane domain of 22 amino acids, the extracellular domain of 408 amino acids, the second transmembrane domain of 22

C323 of SR-BI is required for SR-BI-mediated HDL binding and cholesteryl ester uptake[S]
Scavenger receptor BI (SR-BI) is an HDL receptor. It binds HDL and mediates the uptake of cholesteryl ester from HDL. Early studies have pointed out that the extracellular domain of SR-BI is critical for SR-BI-mediated cholesteryl ester uptake.

Ultra‐Fine 3D Bioprinting of Dynamic Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogel for in Vitro Modeling
3D bioprinting merges tissue engineering and additive manufacturing to create biological structures. A bioink is developed by modifying hyaluronic acid, a natural extracellular matrix polymer, with cysteine. Potassium iodide is later added to tune gelation kinetics, enabling fine printing with a 32G needle.

Altered adrenal gland cholesterol metabolism in the apoE-deficient mouse
Previous studies suggest the hypothesis that apoE produced by adrenocortical cells modulates cellular cholesterol metabolism to enhance the storage of esterified cholesterol (4444411) at the expense of cholesterol delivery to the steroidogenic pathway ...
