Multinculear Nickel(II) Complexes with Schiff Base Ligands
Synthetic Metals, 2003Dinuclear and tetranuclear Ni(II) complexes with Schiff base ligands. [Ni 2 (saa) 2 (MeOH) 2 ] (1), [Ni 2 (Hhsae) 2 (CH 3 COO) 2 (MeOH) 2 ] (2), and [Ni 4 (sae) 4 (MeOH) 4 ] (3) were prepared, and the crystal structures and magnetic properties were studied.

Fluorescent Tin(IV) Complexes with Schiff Base Ligands
Chemistry Letters, 2007Abstract Five novel fluorescent Schiff base tin(IV) complexes of the type [SnCl3(L)] were synthesized and their properties were investigated: the emission wavelengths range from bluish green to orange (λmax: 492–545 nm). DFT calculation shows that the order of the magnitudes of HOMO–LUMO gaps is consonant with that of the emission ...

Cadmium and tin complexes of Schiff-base ligands
Journal of Coordination Chemistry, 2011This review highlights the structural properties and biological aspects of Schiff-base ligands of cadmium and tin derived from the azomethine group. It also presents extensive studies on syntheses, spectral, magnetic structural characteristics, and biological activities of the cadmium and tin complexes with Schiff bases, which have appeared in the ...

New platinum(II) complexes with Schiff base ligands
Transition Metal Chemistry, 1994New neutral platinum complexes of Schiff bases or their hydrated derivatives were prepared and a new path to mixed ligand platinum(II) complexes is proposed. Reactions of [PtCl4]2− with multidentate Schiff bases give chelates which react further, resulting in cis-coordinated mixed N-donor ligand complexes.
