Finite difference method for a nonlinear fractional Schrödinger equation with Neumann condition [PDF]
In this paper, a special case of nonlinear fractional Schrödinger equation with Neumann boundary condition is considered. Finite difference method is implemented to solve the nonlinear fractional Schrödinger problem with Neumann boundary condition ...

Numerical approach to the Schrodinger equation in momentum space
The treatment of the time-independent Schrodinger equation in real-space is an indispensable part of introductory quantum mechanics. In contrast, the Schrodinger equation in momentum space is an integral equation that is not readily amenable to an ...

The Schrodinger Equation [PDF]
In this chapter we turn to a solution of the Schrodinger equation for a simple one dimensional potential as a tool for understanding the meaning of the wave function with an introduction to symmetry and conservation laws.

Short distance modification of the quantum virial theorem
In this letter, we will analyse the deformation of a semi-classical gravitational system from minimal measurable length scale. In the semi-classical approximation, the gravitational field will be analysed as a classical field, and the matter fields will ...

The First Integral Method to the Nonlinear Schrodinger Equations in Higher Dimensions
The first integral method introduced by Feng is adopted for solving some important nonlinear partial differential equations, including the (2 + 1)-dimensional hyperbolic nonlinear Schrodinger (HNLS) equation, the generalized nonlinear Schrodinger (GNLS ...

Interacting Stochastic Schrödinger Equation
Being the annihilation and creation operators on the space h of square integrable Bernoulli functionals, quantum Bernoulli noises (QBN) satisfy the canonical anti-commutation relation (CAR) in equal time.

Schrodinger equation in momentum space
A differential equation in momentum space is derived for the case of an attractive Coulomb potential. The bound-state energies and the momentum eigenfunctions are shown to arise from this differential equation in a simple fashion. The zero-energy partial-wave momentum eigenfunctions are also derived.

NONLINEAR SCHRÖDINGER-PAULI EQUATIONS [PDF]
We obtain novel nonlinear Schr dinger-Pauli equations through a formal non-relativistic limit of appropriately constructed nonlinear Dirac equations. This procedure automatically provides a physical regularisation of potential singularities brought forward by the nonlinear terms and suggests how to regularise previous equations studied in the ...
