Modularity in Argyres-Douglas theories with a = c
We consider a family of Argyres-Douglas theories, which are 4D N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 strongly coupled superconformal field theories (SCFTs) but share many features with 4D N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super-Yang-Mills theories.

We introduce and study the so-called serpentine representations of the infinite symmetric group $\sinf$, which turn out to be closely related to the basic representation of the affine Lie algebra $\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}_2}$ and representations of the ...

On the Schur index and the structure of finite groups
SupposeG is a finite group, χ an irreducible character ofG, andm(χ) its Schur index. In this paper we give results relatingm(χ) and the order and exponent ofG, the order of elements inG and G′, and Sylow subgroups inG. For example, we show that ifgs ∥ m(χ), withg a prime, theng2s ¦exp G or g3s ¦ ¦ G ¦.

Initial State Privacy of Nonlinear Systems on Riemannian Manifolds
ABSTRACT In this paper, we investigate initial state privacy protection for discrete‐time nonlinear closed systems. By capturing Riemannian geometric structures inherent in such privacy challenges, we refine the concept of differential privacy through the introduction of an initial state adjacency set based on Riemannian distances.

High-temperature expansion of the Schur index and modularity
High-temperature (q → 1) asymptotics of 4d superconformal indices of Lagrangian theories have been recently analyzed up to exponentially suppressed corrections. Here we use RG-inspired tools to extend the analysis to the exponentially suppressed terms in

Let G be a connected graph. The subdivision graph S(G) of a graph (G) is the graph obtained by inserting a new vertex into every edge of G. The set of such new vertices is denoted by I(G).

ABSTRACT This paper proposes a boundary control method for nonlinear distributed parameter systems (DPSs) with limited boundary measurements (BMs), as typically encountered in networked cyber‐physical processes with spatially distributed dynamics such as thermal and biomedical diffusion systems.

Fix an integer partition lambda that has no more than n parts. Let beta be a weakly increasing n-tuple with entries from {1,..,n}. The flagged Schur function indexed by lambda and beta is a polynomial generating function in x_1, .., x_n for certain ...

ABSTRACT This research investigates how inclusion‐focused generative AI (GAI), designed with diversity, fairness, and inclusion principles, mitigates disability bias in hiring—particularly under complex, cognitively demanding conditions. Drawing on Construal Level Theory, two experiments with HR professionals (N = 117; 238) compared standard, inclusion‐

Chiral Algebra, Localization, Modularity, Surface defects, And All That [PDF]
We study the 2D vertex operator algebra (VOA) construction in 4D $\mathcal{N}=2$ superconformal field theories (SCFT) on $S^3 \times S^1$, focusing both on old puzzles as well as new observations.
