Privacy‐Preserving Data‐Driven Distributed MPC for Heterogeneous Nonlinear Multi‐Agent Systems
ABSTRACT Distributed model predictive control (DMPC) is a cornerstone for coordinating multi‐agent systems, yet simultaneously ensuring data privacy, handling unknown nonlinear dynamics, and managing heterogeneous constraints remains an open challenge.

The role of identification in data‐driven policy iteration: A system theoretic study
Abstract The goal of this article is to study fundamental mechanisms behind so‐called indirect and direct data‐driven control for unknown systems. Specifically, we consider policy iteration applied to the linear quadratic regulator problem. Two iterative procedures, where data collected from the system are repeatedly used to compute new estimates of ...

Rigidity and Triviality of Gradient r-Almost Newton-Ricci-Yamabe Solitons
In this paper, we develop the concept of gradient r-Almost Newton-Ricci-Yamabe solitons (in brief, gradient r-ANRY solitons) immersed in a Riemannian manifold.

Initial State Privacy of Nonlinear Systems on Riemannian Manifolds
ABSTRACT In this paper, we investigate initial state privacy protection for discrete‐time nonlinear closed systems. By capturing Riemannian geometric structures inherent in such privacy challenges, we refine the concept of differential privacy through the introduction of an initial state adjacency set based on Riemannian distances.

Hölder-type norm inequalities for schur products of matrices
A norm \(\| \cdot \|\) on \(M_ n\), the set of \(n\times n\) complex matrices, is called unitarily invariant if \(\| UAV\| =\| A\|\), for all unitaries U and V. There is a one-to-one correspondence between unitarily invariant norms and symmetric gauge functions \(\phi\) on \({\mathbb{R}}^ n_+\), given by \[ (1)\quad \| A\| =\phi (\vec S(A))=\phi (S_ 1 ...

ABSTRACT This paper proposes a boundary control method for nonlinear distributed parameter systems (DPSs) with limited boundary measurements (BMs), as typically encountered in networked cyber‐physical processes with spatially distributed dynamics such as thermal and biomedical diffusion systems.

Hybrid Regulation and Employer Signalling of Disability Inclusion in UK Job Adverts
ABSTRACT In liberal market economies, the role of employers in shaping equality regulation has become increasingly prominent, leading to the emergence of new hybrid forms of employer‐driven state and joint regulation that are reshaping the institutional architecture of equality. This study assesses the relationship between these hybrid regulatory forms

ABSTRACT Rate‐independent single crystal plasticity requires robust solution methods due to the non‐uniqueness of slip system activity. The interior point method, which enforces the yield criterion via slack variables and a so‐called barrier term, has proven both robust and computationally efficient for this class of problems and has been applied to ...

Control Design Based on Generalized Lur'e Lyapunov Functions for Sampled‐Data Lur'e Systems
ABSTRACT This article addresses the synthesis of stabilizing control laws for aperiodic sampled‐data Lur'e systems. Based on a hybrid system representation of the closed‐loop system and a timer‐dependent generalized Lur'e–Postnikov type Lyapunov function, stabilization conditions are obtained by separating decision variables with the application of two

ABSTRACT Vector extrapolation techniques can be highly effective when used to accelerate the convergence of fixed‐point iterative methods, such as the Picard method. In this study, we investigate the numerical solution of nonlinear problems. Specifically, we address the nonlinear eigenvalue Bratu problem and the Monge–Ampère equation using a multigrid ...
