New anti‐windup Proportional‐Integral‐Derivative for motor speed control
Abstract The proportional‐integral‐derivative (PID) was developed and recognized for its reliability. A PID controller is not only simple but also relatively cheap. However, the controller causes system performance degeneration over time due to the presence of windup in a motor speed control system.

A novel code generation methodology for block diagram modeler and simulators Scicos and VSS [PDF]
Block operations during simulation in Scicos and VSS environments can naturally be described as Nsp functions. But the direct use of Nsp functions for simulation leads to poor performance since the Nsp language is interpreted, not compiled.

Exploring tubular steady‐state laminar flow reactors with orthogonal collocation
Abstract The laminar flow reactor (LFR) is one of the most comprehensive problems in chemical reaction engineering, as its modeling involves mass, heat, and momentum conservation equations coupled with chemical reaction rate equations. It is relatively easy to grasp its basic operation, but the solution of the problem is far from trivial.
