Programming scilab in ARM linux
ACM SIGSOFT Software Engineering Notes, 2008Scilab is a free and open source alternative to commercial scientific software packages for numerical computations. It provides an open programming environment along with a large number of powerful primitives. To realize the full potential of Scilab in embedded systems, this paper presents programming techniques essential for using Scilab in the ARM ...

Modeling and Simulation in Scilab
2009One of the fundamental problems in many areas of science and engineering is the problem of modeling and simulation. Scilab provides a large array of tools for developing and simulating models of several types. For several of these tools it is possible to use them with abbreviated commands and default values of some parameters.

The Research of Scientific Computing Environment on Scilab
Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2006The paper focuses on the implements of distributed parallel computing on Scilab, a wide-used Grid environment. Netbutterfly Grid Computing System (NGCS) is designed , Some of key issues, such as the architecture of NGCS ,job distributing, system communications, fault tolerance and security problem are analyzed and discussed. And a new science computing

In this paper, we present a part of the parallelization of a Matlab-like tool called \sci\ using high performance numerical libraries and different approaches based either on the duplication of \sci\ processes or using computational servers. This tool allows to perform high level operations on distributed matrices in a metacomputing environment.
