Two-way coherent Doppler error due to solar corona [PDF]

open access: yes
Two-way coherent Doppler errors resulting from phase scintillations induced on the uplink by the solar corona are considered. It is shown that this error can be estimated by taking statistics on the differential Doppler measurements.

Co‐Firing Slow Solidification Process for Growing Indium‐Doped Cs3Cu2I5 Single Crystals With Record‐Breaking X‐Ray Detection Performance

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A novel brand‐new co‐firing slow solidification process has been used to prepare Cs3Cu2I5: In single crystals (SCs), which demonstrate record‐breaking X‐ray detection performance. The regular‐shaped Cs3Cu2I5: In wafer obtains a high light yield (74 368 Ph MeV−1), which is the highest related to indium‐doped Cu‐based perovskites.

Nanofiber PVA‐Based Membranes Incorporating Functionalized Spanish Broom Derivatives for Sustainable Water Purification

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This study investigates Spanish broom (Spartium junceum) as a renewable source for electrospun composite membranes in sustainable water purification. MCC and biochar were functionalized with eco‐friendly precursors and nanomaterials (i.e., HNT, β‐CDs) to develop hybrid PVA nanofiber composites.
