Scleral fixation of intraocular lenses using scleral tunnel
Purpose The aim of the study was to study the outcome of scleral fixation of intraocular lenses (IOL) using scleral tunnel in cases of inadequate capsular support using the two-point technique. The postoperative outcomes include IOL stability, centeration, and stitch exposure.

Scleral Fixated IOLs - an experience
Context: Scleral fixation of IOL is the procedure of implanting a posterior chamber IOL in the sulcus in absence of posterior capsular support as in prior cataract extraction or Aphakia, Traumatic cataract, subluxation/dislocation of natural lens. Aims: To study the outcome of 68 Aphakic eyes which underwent Sutured Scleral Fixation of IOLs. Results in

Safe Suture Burial in Trans-scleral Fixation of Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens
The commonest complication of trans-scleral fixation of posterior chamber intraocular lens (PCIOL) is suture erosion. The sutures though crucial for lens stability, if exposed cause discomfort and are a potential source of endophthalmitis.

Scleral Fixation Underneath an Intact Conjunctiva
PURPOSE: To describe a technique for the fixation of intraocular lenses or capsular tension rings through the ciliary sulcus or pars plana. METHODS: This alternative technique allows burial of the knot and the free suture ends within the sclera, without using a scleral flap or ...

ABSTRACT Purpose To investigate the relationship between increased intraocular pressure (IOP) and the structure of the post‐trabecular aqueous outflow tract of dogs. Methods Ex vivo aqueous angiography (AA) and anterior segment optical coherence tomography (OCT) were performed concurrently in 19 normal canine eyes, following cannulation and ...
