The FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 8, 30 April 2026.Serum SERPINA3 levels were higher in BOS compared to non‐BOS patients. OPG and SERPINA3 positive cells colocalized with tryptase positive mast cells in airways from BOS lung tissue. OPG and SERPINA3 staining positively correlated in partially and completely obstructed airways.

A Case of Scleroderma Renal Crisis.
Nishi Nihon Hifuka, 1994 59歳の女性。13年来の汎発性強皮症(SSc)にて加療中著明な高血圧を呈し, 検査所見では血漿レニン活性高値を示し, 強皮症腎クリーゼ(SRC)と診断した。カプトプリル, フロセミド, ニフェジピンの併用投与を行ったが, 奏効せず, 急速に腎機能が低下し, 死の転帰をとった。腎の剖検所見では小葉間動脈の内膜の浮腫状肥厚を認め, アルシアン青染色で陽性を示し強皮症腎に特徴的な所見を呈したが, SRCにしばしば認められる血管壁のフィブリノイド壊死は認めなかった。SScにおける最も重篤な合併症としてのSRCを念頭に置き, 早期に発見して対応することの重要性を強調した。
