Pendugaan Limpasan Permukaan dengan Modifikasi Parameter Metode Soil Conservation ServiceCurve Number (SCS-CN) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Direct surface runoff is water flowing over the surface soil due to full capacity of soil infiltration. To calculate direct surface runoff at least 4 (four) main factors ie rainfall depth (P), soil type, land cover and land treatment.

A GIS-Based Hydrological Assessment of Urban Runoff in Shimla Using the SCS-CN Method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Social Science and Economic Research
Urbanization in hilly regions like Shimla has significantly altered natural hydrological processes, leading to increased surface runoff and flood risks. This study presents a GIS-based hydrological assessment of urban runoff in the Shimla urban area using the Soil Conservation Service-Curve Number (SCS-CN) method. The research integrates remote sensing

Lung Cancer Patients Display Increased Expression of Bovine Meat and Milk Factor (BMMF) Proteins in Peritumor Alveolar Macrophages

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
Plasmid‐like DNA sequences frequently found in bovine milk and serum have been proposed as infectious agents promoting indirect carcinogenesis. This multi‐omics study detected immune cells positive for these bovine meat and milk factors (BMMFs) in patients with lung cancer, with BMMF expression inversely correlated with smoking intensity.

Modelling Surface Runoff for Kal River Basin with SCS-CN Method in a GIS Environment

open access: yesInternational Journal of Environment and Climate Change
Water is a vital natural resource, and effective water resource management requires a comprehensive understanding of the hydrological behavior of a watershed. Surface runoff is a fundamental hydrological parameter for planning and implementing sustainable water management strategies.

Variable Rate Irrigation: A Long‐Term Simulated and Field Data Analyses of Irrigation Practices, Field Variability, Economic Feasibility and Profitability

open access: yesIrrigation and Drainage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Long‐term economic analyses of variable rate irrigation (VRI) strategies were performed compared with uniform irrigation management (UIM) in a reference production field using the AquaCrop model. Five strategies to trigger irrigation were as follows: (Field Capacity‐VRI, Driest Soil Trigger‐VRI, Water Mining‐VRI, Conventional Uniform ...

Autophagy Plays a Suppressive Role in Bladder Tumor Formation in an Orthotopic Mouse Model and Bladder Cancer Patient Specimens

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Autophagy plays either a suppressing or promoting role during tumor development. Clarifying the role of autophagy in bladder tumorigenesis both in vitro and in vivo is crucial for developing novel therapeutic strategies through manipulating autophagy activity.

Unveiling New Perspectives on the Hirota–Maccari System With Multiplicative White Noise

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this study, we delve into the stochastic Hirota–Maccari system, which is subjected to multiplicative noise according to the Itô sense. The stochastic Hirota–Maccari system is significant for its ability to accurately model how stochastic affects nonlinear wave propagation, providing valuable insights into complex systems like fluid dynamics

PENGGUNAAN MODEL SCS-CN UNTUK MENGESTIMASI RUNOFF PADA SUB DAS TUKAD NYULING-BALI

open access: yes, 2013
Runoff data is very important because it can be used to monitor the health of watershed. But in fact, to obtain the data is not easy because of the lack of river flow monitoring equipment in the form of SPAS.
