Formulation of Parsimonious Urban Flash Flood Predictive Model with Inferential Statistics
The curve number (CN) rainfall–runoff model is widely adopted. However, it had been reported to repeatedly fail in consistently predicting runoff results worldwide.

Comparative Analysis of the Water Balance of Drainage Basins in Arid Regions: A Case Study of Wadi Bishah and Wadi Itwad Basins [PDF]
This research provides an estimate and analysis of the water balance in Wadi Bishah and Wadi Itwad basins in Asir region (KSA). The study is based on the integrated employment of maximum daily rain data for the period (1980-2017) in a total of 10 rain ...

Determining the changes in flood potential caused by drought periods in the Dehak watershed of South Khorasan province [PDF]
Introduction Climatic changes and the occurrence of long-term drought have greatly affected the vegetation pattern of watersheds, which results in the change of runoff coefficient and flood potential.

The a-numbers of Fermat and Hurwitz curves [PDF]
For an algebraic curve $\mathcal{X}$ defined over an algebraically closed field of characteristic $p >0$, the $a$-number $a(\mathcal{X})$ is the dimension of the space of exact holomorphic differentials on $\mathcal{X}$. We compute the $a$-number for an infinite families of Fermat and Hurwitz curves.

a-numbers of curves in Artin–Schreier covers [PDF]
Let $π: Y \to X$ be a branched $\mathbf{Z}/p \mathbf{Z}$-cover of smooth, projective, geometrically connected curves over a perfect field of characteristic $p>0$. We investigate the relationship between the $a$-numbers of $Y$ and $X$ and the ramification of the map $π$.
