Rainfall-Runoff Simulation Using HEC-HMS Model in the Benanain Watershed, Timor Island
Floods in a watershed area are caused by reduced water recharge due to changes in land use, increasing their discharge volume. Benanain watershed is an extensive area with many tributaries.

The \(a\)-number of Jacobians of certain maximal curves
Summary: In this paper, we compute a formula for the \(a\)-number of certain maximal curves given by the equation \(y^q+y=x^{\frac{q+1}{2}}\) over the finite field \(\mathbb{F}_{q^2}\). The same problem is studied for the maximal curve corresponding to \(\sum_{t=1}^s y^{q/2^t}=x^{q+1}\) with \(q=2^s\), over the finite field \(\mathbb{F}_{q^2}\).

Determination of Variation in Soil Water Storage Capacity on Watersheds
The purpose ofthis study is to bring up variation of soil water storage capacity (S) based on probability distributions on vvatersheds, and to compare S obtained from probability distribution to S according to Soil Conservation Service (SCS). İn order to

The Writhing Number of a Space Curve [PDF]
A geometric invariant of a space curve, the writhing number, is defined and studied. For the central curve of a twisted cord the writhing number measures the extent to which coiling of the central curve has relieved local twisting of the cord. This study originated in response to questions that arise in the study of supercoiled double-stranded DNA ...

Determination of hydrologic soil group for the calculation of floods At Upper Brantas Watershed
Dams are planned and built to be used for water resources activities. Besides the benefits, there were a great danger if the inability of the dam structure to holding the flood is available.

Computing the Geometric Intersection Number of Curves [PDF]
The geometric intersection number of a curve on a surface is the minimal number of self-intersections of any homotopic curve, i.e., of any curve obtained by continuous deformation. Given a curve c represented by a closed walk of length at most ℓ on a combinatorial surface of complexity n , we
