Integrated Experimental, Chemometric, and In Silico Analyses of Larvicidal Supercritical Extracts From Myrtaceae Species Against Aedes aegypti

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 10, October 2026.
The cross‐validated regression tree showed modest predictive performance. Mortality was not significantly associated with the first two PCA axes. Molecular modeling generated testable ligand–target hypotheses. Psidium cattleianum had lower LD50. The larvicidal activity of the crude extracts could not be attributed to individual constituents.

Anti‐Inflammatory Activity of Cotula cinerea Essential Oil: Integrated Chemical, In Vivo, Histological, and Computational Evaluation

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 10, October 2026.
Cotula cinerea essential oil was chemically profiled and evaluated in an exploratory in vivo model with histological assessment, while computational analyses generated hypotheses for interactions of selected constituents with COX‐2 and BSA. The predictive findings require direct experimental validation. ABSTRACT The anti‐inflammatory activity of Cotula

Exploring the Neuropharmacological Potential of Ligustrum sinense Relevant to Parkinson's Disease: In Vivo and In Silico Study

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 10, October 2026.
Ligustrum sinense (L. sinense) leaf extract exhibited moderate antioxidant activity (DPPH IC50 = 73.56 ± 2.18 µg/mL) and was evaluated for neuropharmacological effects at 200 and 400 mg/kg using elevated plus maze, open‐field, hole‐cross, and hole‐board tests.

Explore the Mechanism of Xiaoyaosan for Treatment of Bipolar Disorder Based on Network Pharmacology, Experimental Validation and Molecular Docking

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 10, October 2026.
This study evaluates Xiaoyaosan (XYS) for bipolar disorder (BD) using network pharmacology and experimental validation. Molecular docking reveals interactions between active XYS compounds and potential core targets. Animal experiments confirm XYS alleviates BD‐like behaviors in mice by suppressing core targets, elucidating its multi‐target mechanism ...
