Influence of Satellite Motion Control System Parameters on Performance of Space Debris Capturing

open access: yesAerospace, 2020
Relative motion control problem for capturing the tumbling space debris object is considered. Onboard thrusters and reaction wheels are used as actuators. The nonlinear coupled relative translational and rotational equations of motion are derived.

Approximate optimal control design for quadrotors: A computationally fast solution

open access: yesOptimal Control Applications and Methods, Volume 45, Issue 1, Page 85-105, January/February 2024.
Optimal motion planning of the quadrotor is investigated by using the newly developed finite time Θ‐D technique, which can provide a closed‐form state‐feedback suboptimal control law and has significant online computational efficiency. Those attributes facilitate online implementation of autonomous systems.

Accurate voltage regulation for a DC microgrid using nonlinear state feedback controller

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 18, Issue 1, Page 63-78, January 2024.
In order to reach accurate voltage regulation among various distributed generation systems and maintain overall system stability, this paper studies the modelling and control of an islanded DC microgrid architecture described by a set of nonlinear‐nonaffine differential equations.

End Point Control of Nonlinear Flexible Manipulators With Control Constraint Using SDRE Method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
The paper treats the question of end point regulation of multi-link light-weight manipulators using the state dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) method. It is assumed that each link is flexible and deforms when maneuvered.

Relative position control of a two-satellite formation using the SDRE control method

open access: yes, 2014
The relative position and formation attitude control of a two-spacecraft utilizing coulomb forces as well as thrusters is addressed. The nonlinear control is realized through state dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) control method.
