An Insight into Colloidal Gas Aphron Drainage Using Electrical Conductivity Measurement [PDF]
In the present paper Electrical Conductivity (EC) of Colloidal Gas Aphron (CGA) suspensions was measured for anionic and cationic surfactants (Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (SDS) and Tetradecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Bromide (TTAB)).

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Laney administration bans SDS, protects racist book
Poster shows clips of memos and letters about SDS's demonstration. SDS protested the use of the book "The Unheavenly City" in class curriculum. On the reverse is information about a demonstration at the Board of Trustees meeting.

RETURN TO WORK AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY OF PSYCHIATRIC PATIENTS: CLINICAL ASSESSMENT TOOLS AS PREDICTORS OF RETURNING TO WORK [PDF]
Subjective functional capacity is of prognostic value regarding work outcomes. The Sheehan Disability Scale (SDS) and the Return-to-Work Self-Efficacy (RTW-SE) questionnaire are validated tools to measure dimensions of subjective functional capacity ...

The anionic biosurfactant rhamnolipid does not denature industrial enzymes
Biosurfactants (BS) are surface-active molecules produced by microorganisms. Their combination of useful properties and sustainable production make them promising industrial alternatives to petrochemical and oleochemical surfactants.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

SDS-PAGE and Western blot analysis of expressed 16mer-peptides.
(a, c) SDS-PAGE analysis of expressed 16mer-peptides. The numbers of P1-P56 indicate each 16mer-peptide in cell total proteins. The cell proteins of each r-clone were resolved by 12% SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis and stained with Coomassie brilliant blue.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

SDS-PAGE analysis of Sortase A-mediated ligation.
(A) 36 μM BRD4C and 18 μM BRD4NL were reacted using 18 μM SrtA in 50 mM Tris (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl and 1 mM TCEP over the course of 21 h. Samples were taken at the timepoints shown and reaction was stopped by addition of SDS running buffer followed by ...
