Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

UTJECAJ RATA U HRVATSKOJ NA ZBIVANJA U BOSANSKOJ KRAJINI 1991. GODINE // THE INFLUENCE OF WAR IN CROATIA TO EVENTS IN BOSANSKA KRAJINA DURING 1991. [PDF]

open access: yesHistorijski pogledi, 2019
The author analyzes the impact of war events in Croatia on national relations in the Bosnian Krajina in 1991. The Serbian autonomous region of Krajina (later the Republic of Srpska Krajina) in Croatia and the Autonomous Region of Krajina (ARK) in the ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

SDS-polyacrylamide gel (8–16% gradient) electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) of Ahp1 virion proteins.

open access: yes, 2016
About 5 × 1011 PFU of purified phage particles were boiled in sample buffer (100 mM Tris-HCl pH 6.8, 4% SDS, 0.2% bromophenol blue, 20% glycerol, 200 mM dithiothreitol) (20 μl) and loaded onto the well.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

SDS-PAGE-Western blot of gp160ΔCT mutants.

open access: yes, 2023
VLPs expressing various JR-FL gp160ΔCT E168K+N189A mutant combinations were analyzed by reducing SDS-PAGE-Western blot. Duplicate blots were probed with A) anti-gp120, B) anti-gp41 or C) anti-gp120+gp41 MAb cocktails. Env species are indicated by colored

Retention behavior of selected alkaloids in Reversed Phase micellar chromatographic systems

open access: yesCurrent Issues in Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, 2015
In this work, the effects of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) concentrations on retention, separation selectivity, peak shapes and systems efficiency were investigated. Herein, the retention data for 11 alkaloids were determined on an RP18 silica column with

Residual tail twisting in ascidian larvae is stabilized by asymmetric myofibrils that resist bilateral symmetry restoration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...
