In this article, we propose a multichannel sea clutter model in a spaceborne early warning radar system and analyze the influence of the sea clutter motion characteristics on the space-time adaptive processing (STAP) performance. To establish a multichannel sea clutter model, the 3-D Gerstner wave model is applied to construct the sea surface. Then the

Suppression of the sea clutter in marine radar system
IIEEE International Conference on Acoustics Speech and Signal Processing, 2002The purpose of this paper is to analyze the radar echo signal data in marine radar system, and we tackle a problem on suppression of the sea clutter on marine radar display by using Wavelet Transform, which gives optimum cut-off frequency with time (distance).

Sea Clutter Suppression using EMD-SVD- FRFT Filtering
2019 International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS), 2019Sea clutter suppression is one of the major measures to improve target detection from sea clutter. Singular value decomposition-fractional Fourier transform (SVD-FRFT) filtering is conducted to suppress sea clutter without impairing the target even when the target and first-order sea clutter are mixed in the Doppler spectrum.

Research of Sea Clutter Suppression Algorithm Based on GPU
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012This paper presents an algorithm of sea clutter suppression using graphics processing unit (GPU) to meet the real-time requirement in the general radar terminal system. The main idea is to convert an infinite impulse response (IIR) filter to a finite impulse response (FIR) filter, which is suitable for the parallelization processing of GPU.

A Novel Sea Clutter Suppression Method based on Neural Network
2021 IEEE 4th International Conference on Electronic Information and Communication Technology (ICEICT), 2021In order to suppress sea clutter effectively, it is necessary to estimate the center and width of the power spectrum of sea clutter accurately. Since the complex property of sea clutter, traditional methods cannot estimate the accurate parameters of power spectrum of sea clutter, which leads to the decrease of the clutter suppression performance.

A machine learning approach to radar sea clutter suppression
2017 IEEE Radar Conference (RadarConf), 2017The radar detection of small maritime targets requires special attention to the suppression of sea clutter returns that, in certain circumstances, may be difficult to discriminate from target returns. In this paper, the novel use of machine learning techniques is explored to address this familiar problem.

Sea Clutter Suppression Based on Selective Reconstruction of Features
2019 6th Asia-Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar (APSAR), 2019This paper presents a sea clutter suppression (SCS) method for single-channel maritime radar based on a deep Convolutional Neural Network (SCS-CNN), which consists of an encoder and a decoder. First, the encoder is used to extract depth features of the original Range-Doppler spectrum obtained from sub-aperture echoes.

A Sea Clutter Suppression Method With Graph Neural Network for Maritime Target Detection
IEEE Sensors JournalRadar is widely applied in maritime target detection. However, the performance of sea-surface target detection in complex ocean environments is limited because of the low signal-to-clutter ratio (SCR).

Research on Sea Clutter Suppression Using Sparse Dictionary Learning
2019 IEEE 8th Joint International Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Conference (ITAIC), 2019Due to the interference of the strong sea clutter, it’s difficult to detect marine weak targets and clutter attenuation is the key to improve detection performance. A sea clutter suppression method based on sparse dictionary learning was proposed to attenuate sea clutter and thus enhance the detection performance.
