Underlying drivers of decade-long fluctuation in the global mean sea-level rise
Natural climate variability can mask the background trend of global mean sea-level (GMSL) caused by global warming. Recent advances in satellite measurements and ocean heat-content estimates have enabled the monitoring of GMSL budget components and ...

This study demonstrates a self‐assembly process to generate free‐standing piezoelectric nanomembranes, forming ultracompact microtubular acoustic wave sensors and actuators. The miniaturized 3D piezoelectric platform reported in this work can be applied in telecommunication, energy harvesting, and acoustofluidics. Moreover, the 3D self‐assembly can add

Understanding Full‐Depth Steric Sea Level Change in the Southwest Pacific Basin Using Deep Argo
Using 9 years of full‐depth profiles from 55 Deep Argo floats in the Southwest Pacific Basin collected between 2014 and 2023, we find consistent warm anomalies compared to a long‐term climatology below 2,000 m ranging between 11 ± 2 to 34 ± 2 m°C, most ...

We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Abstract Local sea-level changes deviate from the global mean and unforced variability often masks sea-level changes driven by greenhouse forcing. Both cause difficulties when local observations are compared to projections. We present two analyses of local sea level aiming at improving understanding local causes of sea-level rise and ...

We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Beach-foredune sediment budget response to sea level fluctuation. Curonian Spit, Lithuania /
Beach-foredune sediment exchange maintains a coastal system's stability. Sea level fluctuation is one of the most important factors that modifies the beach and foredune sediment budget.
