Sea Surface Height Estimation by Ground-Based BDS GEO Satellite Reflectometry

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, 2020
Chinese BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) as a mixed constellation consists of not only medium earth orbit (MEO) satellites but also inclined geosynchronous orbit and geostationary earth orbit (GEO) satellites, of which the GEO satellites remain ...

Improving GNSS-IR Sea Surface Height Accuracy Based on a New Ionospheric Stratified Elevation Angle Correction Model

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Approximately 71% of the Earth’s surface is covered by vast oceans. With the exacerbation of global climate change, high-precision monitoring of sea surface height variations is of vital importance for constructing global ocean gravity fields and ...

The Relationship Between Physical Activity and Left Ventricular Remodeling in Childhood Cancer Survivors Treated With Anthracyclines: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Anthracycline‐related cardiac remodeling precedes heart failure in childhood cancer survivors. The objectives of this study were to determine the relationships between patient‐specific factors, moderate‐to‐vigorous physical activity (MVPA), and cardiac remodeling.

Diagnosing Submesoscale Divergence From Sea Surface Height

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters
The Surface Water and Ocean Topography satellite mission now delivers global sea surface height (SSH) observations at scales fine enough to resolve submesoscale eddies (

The Dynamics of Sea Surface Height and Geostrophic Current in the Arafura Sea

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, 2017
The aim of this research is to analyze the dynamics of sea surface height and geostrophic current in relation to upwelling and downwelling phenomenon. The climatic factor such as monsoon are also calculated to understand dynamic of all parameters. The location of this research is in the waters of Arafura Sea waters.

Phase Angle as an Early Functional Biomarker of Cancer‐Related Fatigue in Pediatric Oncology: A Prospective Longitudinal Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Pediatric cancer remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, particularly in low‐and middle‐income countries. Cancer treatment may impair nutritional status, alter body composition, and exacerbate cancer‐related fatigue (CRF).

Global Mean Sea Surface Height Estimated from Spaceborne Cyclone-GNSS Reflectometry

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2020
Mean sea surface height (MSSH) is an important parameter, which plays an important role in the analysis of the geoid gap and the prediction of ocean dynamics.

Sea Surface Height Variability in Drake Passage

open access: yesJournal of Atmospheric and Oceanic Technology, 2016
AbstractIntercomparisons between altimeter sea surface height (SSH) and open-ocean in situ observations have been limited owing to sparse available datasets. Here, SSH anomaly (SSHA) determined from current and pressure recording inverted echo sounders (CPIES) from the cDrake experiment were compared with an up-to-date AVISO-mapped product.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Optimizing photoexcitation conditions for time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering experiments

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering (TR‐XSS) is a powerful technique to visualize how proteins change their structure in real time after light activation. Selecting the right laser photoexcitation conditions—fluence, excitation geometry, and sample refresh rate—is critical to maximize the experimental signal while avoiding unwanted side effects ...
